Dirtbags Code of Conduct

Players

 

1. Show up and be on Time. If you are EARLY you are never late.

2. Be ACCOUNTABLE- be over accountable.

3. Be a GOOD Teammate- Nobody wants to play with a JERK.

4. HUSTLE Always. Sprint on and off the field.

5. Play HARD. Shown in Actions not Words

6. Be READY. If you stay ready you don’t have to get ready.

7. PREPARE Prepare Prepare- Consistent practice produces positive results.

8. Always Represent the DIRTBAGS- No bat slamming, no helmet throwing, no POUTING.

9. No arguing or questioning the umpire.

10. Carry your own equipment. Moms are there to cheer you on not carry your bat bag.

 

 

Parents

 

1. Get your kids to practices and games on time.

2. Always encourage.

3. Let the coaches coach.

4. Support and encourage extra work. 

5. Always Keep it FUN.

6. Please do NOT address other teams fans, coaches, or umpires. Leave it to the coaches.

7. Other than positive words of encouragement or health related issues, please DO NOT TALK to your kids during the game.

8. Show up- Support your kid and be at as many games as possible.

9. Be a student of the GAME.

 

 

Coaches

 

1. Have a plan - Practice and Games.

2. Correct and Coach - Don’t criticize and condemn.

3. Make them EARN IT.

4. Coach LESS, Listen MORE.

5. Coach AGGRESION- Create hard-nosed BALLPLAYERS.

6. Conduct the ENERGY Train.

7. WINNING is contagious and FUN.
